Catalog description

This course introduces core business principles for healthcare professionals launching independent ventures. Topics include business foundations and ethics, accounting and budgeting, marketing, negotiation, legal and tax considerations, human resource management, and best practices in business operations. Using a case study approach, students analyze real-world entrepreneurial scenarios to develop financial literacy, ethical judgment, and practical decision-making skills necessary for sustaining owner-operated healthcare businesses.
