Catalog description

The course focuses on linear models for regression and analysis of variance. Topics include simple and multiple regression, analysis of variance, analysis of covariance, logistic regression for binary outcomes, and nonparametric methods. Model checking and refinements as well as interpretation and communication of results will be emphasized. Examples will come from such fields as Biology, Business and Economics, and Engineering.
