Elementary Statistics

Catalog description
A noncalculus introduction to concepts of probability and statistics in various fields: graphical and numerical displays of data, descriptive linear regression and correlation, statistical design, probability, sampling distributions, interval estimation and hypothesis testing, and one-way analysis of variance. Computer lab sessions form an important part of the course. May not count toward a mathematics major.
