Discovery in Mathematics

Catalog description
Focuses on areas of management science (including graph theory, scheduling, etc.), statistics, and additional selected topics from linear programming, probability, combinatorics, and consumer finance. The course emphasizes problem-solving and real-world applications relating to these topics and is intended to promote critical thinking and mathematical skill. May not count toward any major or minor program in mathematics. Cannot be substituted for MATH-105 or used as a prerequisite for any other course.
