Intermediate Algebra

Catalog description
The course is a continuation of MATH 090, the course topics include rational expressions; exponents, roots, and radicals; linear equations and inequalities; quadratic equations; systems of linear equations in two or more variables, absolute value equations, and inequalities; an introduction to functions. It is designed as a bridge and preparatory course for MATH 150 and MATH 180. Students who have received at least a C- in MATH 150 or higher will not be admitted into MATH 105. The course may not count toward any major or minor program in mathematics, and it does not satisfy the mathematics component of the core.
