Elementary Algebra

Catalog description

The course reviews basic mathematics including fractions, signed numbers, percents, linear equations in one and two variables, linear inequalities, exponent rules, polynomials, factoring, and systems of equations. This course may not count toward any degree program. As a preparatory course, it does not carry college-level credit (earned hours) nor receive a grade, and it may not be taken on an audit basis. This course does not satisfy the mathematics component of the core. Although the course does not carry college-level credit (earned hours), it counts for three hours toward athletic and financial aid eligibility. Three hours also will be applied to athletic and financial aid progress on successful completion of the course.
