Catalog description

Administrative personnel within intercollegiate athletics departments engage in various tasks with regard to human resource management. Recruitment, selection, training, and appraising employees are among the tasks personnel will engage. The purpose of this course is to orient students with various responsibilities personnel hold with regard to managing human resources. In addition, this course will enable students to develop knowledge of legal requirements as well as beneficial tactics with regard to managing human resources.
