Catalog description

This course examines how health policy influences the organization, financing, and delivery of health services in the United States. Students explore the structure of the U.S. health system, key policy processes, and regulatory environments, and analyze how health organizations respond through leadership, budgeting, and quality improvement practices. Through applied case studies, students develop an understanding of how policy decisions shape health systems operations and population health outcomes.
