Catalog description
Study of drugs and their effects, both physical and mental, as seen in the behavior of the abuser toward his or her environment. Included in the course is a section on the health aspects of drug use and abuse along with community involvement. Also included is a discussion of the relevant issues of contracting the AIDS virus. The course relies heavily on open discussion, visual aids, guest lecturers, and psychodrama.
