Catalog description

This course provides students with an appliced understanding of the critical role of evaluation in assessing the effectiveness of public health programs and interventions. Students develop skills in selecting and using appropriate measurement procedures, assessment tools, and evaluation methods as integral components of public health practice. Emphasis is placed on designing and applying process, impact, and outcome evaluation approaches to assess program performance and support evidence-based decision-making. Foundational research methods and program planning concepts are reviewed and applied throughout the course to support practical evaluation activities and promote accountability, quality improvement, and effective public health practice.
