Catalog description

This course will study the necessary leadership skills and competencies of sports leaders. Throughout the course, personal styles of leadership will be addressed and students will learn to recognize leadership components. This course will allow students to learn leadership skills through theoretical study and assessment of leadership strengths and weaknesses. A key to this course will involve the students¿ willingness to learn and take responsibility for applying leadership skills in their organization's productivity. The intent of this course is to enhance the student¿s leadership development.
