Catalog description

Work experience in international relations (for example, with government offices, public agencies concerned with foreign affairs, lobbying organizations, or nongovernmental interest groups and agencies). Students are supervised on a day-to-day basis by the office staff and report to the instructor on a regular basis. A full-time internship of at least four weeks may be arranged during Semester I or II or in the summer. Up to eight hours of credit may be applied toward a major or minor; additional hours will be credited as elective. This course is not open to freshmen.
