Catalog description
This course enables participants to define medical terms built from word parts, understand terminology commonly used by various health professions, and comprehend the use of these terms in patient charts. Medical terminology built from root words, prefixes, and suffixes will be explored. Participants will also explore terms used for the delivery of health care systems, including the vocabulary utilized by health insurance organizations.
