Catalog description
This course examines the core functions of human resource management and their role in supporting organizational effectiveness. Topics include staffing, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance with employment and labor laws. Emphasis is placed on equal employment opportunity, ethical decision-making, and the application of HR practices to real organizational contexts. The course develops practical and analytical skills essential for human resource professionals.
