Catalog description

The applied internship class offers graduate students the opportunity to engage in a supervised field experience in the community that is related to psychology. Students will acquire applied experience in the field of psychology, engage in activities to promote professional development, develop professional relationships, and apply class material in a professional context. The emphasis of this experience is on refining various skills learned in their graduate level classes. The experience will also involve reflection assignments that will allow the student to integrate their internship experience with previous coursework.
