Catalog description
This 3 credit hour course explores social psychology, the scientific study of how social situations influence the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of individuals. Topics covered include attitude formation and change, social influence, pro-social behavior, interpersonal attraction, the formation and maintenance of relationships, stereotyping and prejudice, group structure and dynamics, the social self, and social cognition and attribution.
