Catalog description

This course introduces graduate students to the foundations of graduate-level research methods, phiolsophy of science, and statistics used in the social and behavioral sciences. Students will gain knowledge in the areas of design, controlling threats to validity, statistical concepts, research ethics, and publishing results. Students will be equipped with the skills to critically evaluate research and design an empirical study.
