Catalog description
Derivative Markets examines the structure and function of futures, options, and swap markets. The course explores pricing models, hedging strategies, and speculative applications of derivative securities. Students analyze risk exposures, evaluate trading positions, and apply valuation techniques to financial and commodity derivatives. Additional topics may include arbitrage, market efficiency, and regulatory considerations. Emphasis is placed on quantitative analysis and the use of derivatives in risk management and portfolio strategy.
