Catalog description

Introduces the theory and practice of personal financial planning through the development of an integrated personal financial plan. Topics include personal, career, and financial goals; analysis of personal financial statements; budgeting and cash flow planning; credit and debt management; loans and mortgages; investment planning including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds; risk assessment and insurance evaluation; and retirement, estate, tax, education, and charitable planning. Emphasis is placed on financial literacy and long-term wealth development.
