Catalog description

The focus of this course is on combinational and sequential circuit analysis and design. Also, this course will introduce HDL design and synthesis with field programmable grate arrays (FPGAs). Topics include Boolean algebra, logic realization, flip-flops, counters, shift-registers, clock generation circuits, finite state machines, and high level state machines. The course will also reinforce ethical and professional responsibilities for electrical and computer engineers.
