Catalog description

This course is one of the required core courses for the Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and the Master of Arts in Teaching. Described as a ""basic course in methods of research in education,""this course will provide you with an overview of qualitative and quantitative methods for data collection and analysis. We will examine issues related to teacher and/or action research, and the fundamental principles related to evaluating the quality of research (e.g., design, sampling, member checks).
