Catalog description

This class offers students the opportunity to learn and practice social skills necessary for career and academic success. Students will receive instruction in a classroom setting then have the opportunity to practice and grow skills through numerous settings. As students progress through their skill acquisition and retake the class, they will have the opportunity to teach a social lesson, create social activity opportunities, and/or have the opportunity to mentor incoming students. Students will earn their credits through a mix of classwork and participation in small and large group functions.
