Catalog description

The New Student Experience is a transition course designed to facilitate students' integration into the learning community of UIndy. The course helps new students majoring in Criminal Justice in their first semester of enrollment to develop skills and relationships that will serve them well as they pursue their degree and career goals. The course uses a combination of in- and out-of-class experiences and covers topics relating to academics, career-development, student involvement, the Criminal Justice major and field, and Education for Service.
