Catalog description
This course focuses on the digital production knowledge/skills needed by public relations professionals for strategic and tactical communications via online/social media. In addition to hands-on experience in shooting/editing videos and producing podcasts, students also study basics of broadcast journalism storytelling in the context of effective media relations. The course also exposes students to peer-reviewed research relating to digital and broadcast production best practice.
