Provides students an overall understanding of communication law. History, evolution, and current state of First Ammendement, journalism, broadcast, advertising, public relations, and communication technology law. Intellectual property, defamation, freedom of information access, and privacy rights are emphasized. Prerequisite: Junior or senior standing.
