Catalog description

Provides practical experience through work on the university's student newspaper and its online publication. The student is expected to devote a minimum of four hours per issue to practical work. Areas of experience may include reporting, writing, editing, photography, layout/design, online publishing, business/advertising, and publication management. Initial classroom instruction orients the student to the program.
