Capstone: Research Experience

Catalog description

The capstone course is an opportunity for students to demonstrate that they have achieved the goals for leaning established by their educational institution and major department. Our aim is to develop a scientific way of thinking about the biological world. For this course you will demonstrate what you have learned in your biology courses by taking the Biology Field test. You will reflect on what you learned in a research experience you have completed as an undergraduate and generate a substantial product in terms of an oral presentation you will give to the Department or University community, demonstrating higher-level thinking skills in analyzing your project. You will be given feedback on your presentation by faculty and peers.
