Catalog description
This course examines the genetic changes and molecular events that lead to abnormal cell growth and cancer. Topics covered include oncogenes, tumor supressor genes, angiogenesis, invasion and metastasis, cancer stem cells, therapeutic approahces for cancer treatment and cancer prevention. Three lectures per week.
