Catalog description
Study of important principles of metabolism, homeostatic mechanisms, and functional relationships of human tissue and organ systems regarding human physiology, with an emphasis on preparation for careers in clinical healthcare or research. Integrated lecture and laboratory/discussion experiences. Two lectures and two two-hour laboratory periods per week. Additional notes: BIOL 165 and junior/senior standing are prerequisites for this course; Anatomy is NOT a prerequisite for taking this course.
