Catalog description

This course deals with the preparation of vertebrate tissues for the study of the basic structure and normal function of cells and tissues of the major organ systems in vertebrates (particularly mammals) via light and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The lab component will include both a student driven photographic project and prepared slides study.
