ART 400
Applied Studio
University of Indianapolis · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
Applied Studio is an opportunity for a student to collaborate with an Art & Design faculty member on a scholarly/research project that is outside the parameters of a course project and is based on faculty member's area of expertise. The project may extend over multiple semesters in which the student may or may not be able to participate throughout the entirety of the project. The goal is to work with the faculty member on some or all aspects of the creative process in conceiving, designing, creating, and completing a work of Art. The student can gain first-hand knowledge of that process by working with a professional artist.
