Catalog description
This course covers complex accounting topics including consolidations, foreign currency transactions, governmental and non-for-profit accounting, and partnerships. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, research, and the application of professional judgment in interpreting and applying advanced accounting standards. Through experiential learning activities and the use of digital and analytical tools, students evaluate complex financial information, commuincate technical conclusions effectively, and address ethical considerations within domestic and global business contexts.
