Catalog description
This course focuses on accounting information used by internal decision-makers (management) rather than external users. Key topics include product and service costing, cost behavior, budgeting and forecasting, performance measurement, and the use of accounting data for decision making and control. With a focus on using accounting information as a strategic management tool, students will learn to use accounting information to plan, control, and evaluate products, projects, divisions, and organizations.
