Catalog description

Students will examine and be presented current and relevant situational awareness tactics, techniques and procedures framed within three domains of the Human Dimension - Spiritual-Moral-Ethical, Physical, and Psychological. Students will analyze the process of critical thinking and response during crisis situations presented by threats (natural and man-made) and how to be prepared individually and to constructively assess institutions of public safety and security. This course will integrate legal, ethical and biblical frameworks in the understanding of central issues surrounding the maintenance of situational awareness.
