Catalog description
This course is an examination of the assessment and interpretation of mental disorders as outlined in the current accepted practice edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Students will explore the principles of etiology, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental and emotional disorders within multicultural and faith integration frameworks. Prerequisites: CNS-503 and CNS-508
