Catalog description

This course focuses on the study of group counseling theories, group dynamics, group stages, and the process of group counseling. The course will explore group roles, leadership skills, basics, and advanced group interventions and techniques, as well as ethics and multicultural considerations when working with diverse populations. Students are required to participate in a therapy group while enrolled in this course. Prerequisite: CNS-503 or by permission of the instructor.
