Catalog description

This course is designed to give students majoring or minoring in biochemistry, chemistry, and environmental sciences the opportunity to apply academic skills and conceptual knowledge of chemistry to a planned work experience. The internship will be an in-depth, supervised, hands-on work and study experience designed to prepare the student for a career in the field of chemistry. The goal of this course is to provide an avenue to implement and improve upon basic skills, learn advanced techniques and applications, and develop the student's ability to both seek and obtain gainful employment within their chosen field. Prerequisite: CHE-126
