Introduction to Business in a Global Environment

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students an introduction to business in a global environment. Students will learn to recognize the concept and role of culture in global business. International organizational strategies and structures will be examined along with how current technology trends impact business infrastructure. Global leadership competencies will be explored and students will have an opportunity to discover how these competencies can be built within themselves and others. Challenges and opportunities created by government and politics in the global business environment will be identified. Students will develop a biblical and ethical framework for conducting business globally throughout the course.
