Catalog description

This course discusses the principles of environmental studies with biological applications. Students will evaluate the in-depth interactions of species and their cause and effect on biodiversity, genetics, and ecosystems including challenges and successes. A study of toxicology and toxicity as it relates to the environment will be completed. A deep view of environmental challenges facing species, including humans, will be assessed in addition to application for environmental controls and potential policy implications.
