Catalog description
A field course designed to teach recognition of the major macro flora and fauna of the Midwest using both taxonomy and natural history. Emphasis will be placed on recognition of birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals indigenous to the area. Recognition of bird songs and amphibian vocalizations will also be stressed. Prerequisite: BIO-126 or BIO-206 with a grade of C or above.
