This course investigates the life and culture of the biblical world of first-century Palestine and Asia Minor. This investigation will focus on worship and architecture, art and literature, occupations and daily life of people living in the ancient Near East and Asia Minor. Special attention will be placed on topics and the biblical texts that bring understanding to the interpretation of God's Word.
