Catalog description

This course will examine a range of contemporary social and ethical issues from Wesleyan and other Christian and philosophical perspectives. Topics such as life and death, ware and nonviolence, race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, criminal justice, environmental stewardship, and the intersection of faith and politics will be explored. Students will practice articulating their convictions clearly and charitably. This course is only offered as part of the residential accelerated program.
