Intermediate Spanish I

Catalog description

A consolidation of Spanish language skills with emphasis on interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational communication. Students increase control of grammatical structures, broaden vocabulary, and become more familiar with Hispanic cultures. Class lectures and discussions are conducted in Spanish in order to build communicative competence. Prerequisite: SPA 118 or equivalent, or permission of Foreign Language Department as students may not self-place in a language course.
