The Craft of Academic Writing for Business

Catalog description
In this course, students will apply critical and reflective thinking and writing in academic and professional contexts and demonstrate doctorate-level scholar-practitioner writing skills for the Applied Doctoral Project. Students will participate in academic conversations with both peers and scholars and transform information into written argumentation with recognition of multiple perspectives, including their own. The Virtuous Business Model will be integrated in student reading, researching, writing, and reporting. Modeling a conscientious approach to writing through diligent application of academic standards and publishing principles is emphasized. In order to pass the course, students must successfully complete the Peregrine Write & Cite module at 70% or higher.
