Catalog description

This course provides the practical skills required for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aircraft Dispatcher certificate. Topics include flight planning, aircraft scheduling, flight tracking and control, flight re-routing, aircraft performance and fuel computations, weight and balance, aircrew human factors, airline safety, and emergency procedures. Successful completion is contingent upon passing the FAA Aircraft Dispatcher practical exam. Credit is granted for students who present a valid and current FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate.
