Catalog description

This course bridges the knowledge gap between a pilot who holds a commercial pilot certificate and an airline transport pilot including the duties, responsibilities, and challenges of an air carrier environment. The course includes the knowledge, instruction, and practical experience hours needed to meet the training requirements of 14 CFR section 61.156 for the Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and/or ATP Restricted (ATP-R) certificate with airplane category multiengine class rating or an ATP certificate issued concurrently with an airplane type rating. Students who possess and present a valid FAA approved ATP-CTP Certificate of Completion will be granted credit for this course. The recommended pre-requisite course is Commercial Pilot Certificate, or completion of AVP-201.
