Catalog description

This course prepares students for flight operations through the solo phase of training. Students will learn take-off and landing, basic flight maneuvers, communication, and emergency procedures. Instruction is given in approved aircraft and simulators. Applicable fees will apply. Students must possess a FAA Class 3 or above FAA Medical Certificate and be at least 17 years old upon completion. Credit for this course is contingent on completing at least through the solo phase of flight. Students may require additional hours of flight instruction beyond the course minimum to pass the course, resulting in additional fees. This course is taken concurrently with AVP-101.
