Private Pilot Flight Training - Accelerated

Catalog description
This course prepares students for the required FAA Private Pilot Practical Test. The course is designed to train students to perform to current Airmen Certification Standards (ACS) in ground and flight operations in an accelerated manner. Students will learn take-off and landing, basic flight maneuvers, cross-country methods, communication, night flying, and emergency procedures. Instruction is given in approved aircraft and simulators. Applicable fees will apply. Students must possess a FAA Class 3 or above FAA Medical Certificate and be at least 17 years old upon completion. Credit for this course is contingent on passing the FAA Private Pilot Certificate Practical Exam. If additional exam attempts are required, students may require additional hours of flight instruction beyond the course minimum to pass the course, resulting in additional fees. Students who possess and present a valid FAA Private Pilot Certificate will be granted credit for this course. This course is taken concurrently with AVP-101. Permission of the program director required.
