This course explores pertinent theories of human behavior, the developmental processes of personality, mental health concepts, and the use of self. Primary emphasis is on aspects of mental health nursing that involve interpersonal relationships in individuals experiencing acute or chronic conditions. A clinical component it included. Prerequisites: NUR-349, NUR-353 and NUR-357 and completion of 300 level Nursing courses.
