Catalog description

This course concentrates on the nursing management of individuals with acute and complex medical or surgical conditions. This study refines, deepens, and extends knowledge of adaptations and alterations in the dynamics of essential body functions. Experience is provided in the emergency room, intensive care unit, and the coronary care unit. Prerequisite: Completion of 300 level Nursing courses.
